Conduct the Desert Symphony!

Since 2011, the Desert Symphony has held an auction during one of its regular performances to raise awareness and financial support for its education and outreach programs.
in addition to receiving a beautiful baton in an keepsake box, the winner also will get two conducting lessons from our music director to prepare for rehearsing with the orchestra and then the opportunity to conduct the orchestra in a selection of music at one of the symphony’s regular concerts.
Below is a list of our past Baton Auction winners. Some of them have elected to “gift” the honor of conducting the orchestra to a family member or friend.
